Guest Policies

In order to ensure all our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience, we ask that you adhere to the following policies:

Montana Basecamp Policies

Check-In & Check-Out

Check-In: 1:00 PM

Check-Out: 11:00 AM

If you would like to extend your stay, please contact us at 406-314-7651 or andy@montanabasecamp.com before 9:00 AM on your scheduled check-out day. Additional nights are subject to availability.

Cancellation & Reservation Policy

  • Reservations become non-refundable 14 days prior to arrival.
  • No-shows and early departures are non-refundable.
  • No-shows are automatically considered cancelled and forfeited at 6:00 PM on the day of arrival.
  • Early departures are automatically cancelled and forfeited upon departure.
  • Reservation changes and cancellations must be submitted by email to andy@montanabasecamp.com.
  • Due to our short operating season, we strongly recommend reviewing your travel plans carefully before booking.
  • Third-party reservations and stays are not permitted.

Quiet Hours

  • Quiet hours begin at 10:00 PM.
  • Please be respectful of other guests and help us maintain a peaceful campground environment.

RV Guests

  • Pets are welcome for RV guests, subject to our pet policies.
  • Rugs are not permitted on the grass.
  • Each RV site is designed to accommodate one RV.
  • RV electrical pedestals are designed for intermittent RV loads only.

No EV Charging

  • EV charging is strictly prohibited.
  • Our electrical pedestals are designed for intermittent RV electrical loads and are not designed to support the continuous electrical demand of electric vehicle charging.
  • EV charging may damage your vehicle and/or the campground's electrical system.

Vehicles & Parking

  • All vehicles must be registered at the front desk.
  • Campground management reserves the right to limit the number of additional vehicles per campsite.
  • Do not block campground roads or adjacent campsites.
  • The campground speed limit is 10 MPH.
  • No parking is permitted on the street.
  • Vehicles remaining on the property after 11:00 AM on the scheduled check-out day are subject to towing at the owner's expense.
  • Unregistered or unauthorized vehicles may be towed at the owner's expense.

Visitors

  • All visitors must register at the front desk before entering the campground.
  • For assistance or visitor registration, please call 406-314-7651.
  • Guests are responsible for ensuring that their visitors follow all campground policies.

Children

  • Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety and behavior of their children at all times.
  • Please supervise children while on the property. Campground roadways are not play areas.

Pets

  • All pets must be registered with the front desk.
  • Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
  • Pets may not be left unattended outside of an RV.
  • Pets may not be tethered to trees, utility fixtures, picnic tables, fences, or other campground property.
  • Pet waste must be picked up immediately.
  • Unleashed pets are not permitted.
  • Guests who fail to comply with the leash policy may be required to leave the resort.
  • Pets are not permitted in bathrooms, showers, or laundry facilities.

Laundry & Restrooms

  • Pets are not permitted in the laundry room or bathroom facilities.
  • Please help us keep these shared spaces clean and comfortable for all guests.

Fire Safety

For everyone's safety, please follow all campground fire regulations.

  • The emergency fire exit is located at the southeast corner of the resort.
  • Campfires are permitted only in designated resort fire pits.
  • Bonfires are not permitted.
  • Firewood must not extend above the rim of the fire pit.
  • Never leave a fire unattended.
  • Do not place hot coals or ashes in garbage containers.
  • Fireworks are prohibited in accordance with City regulations.

Garbage & Trash

Please help us keep Montana Basecamp clean.

  • Double-tie all garbage bags securely.
  • Place all trash in the designated dumpsters located throughout the resort.
  • City trash collection is provided Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Tables & Water

The sprinkler water used at the property is clean city tap water, not well water.

Trees & Natural Hazards

  • We are continually working to maintain and improve the trees throughout Montana Basecamp.
  • Trees and the shade they provide are an important part of the outdoor experience. However, trees and natural vegetation can present hazards, including falling branches, leaves, and other debris, particularly during windy or extreme weather conditions.
  • Guests should take these natural hazards into consideration when parking RVs or vehicles and while enjoying the property.
  • Montana Basecamp does not assume responsibility for natural hazards or for property damage, injury, or other circumstances resulting from such conditions.

Personal Property & Liability

  • Park management is not responsible for loss, theft, damage, accidents, fire, COVID-19, natural hazards, or other causes affecting guests or their personal property.
  • Guests are responsible for their own belongings and personal property during their stay.

Weapons

Weapons, including firearms, knives, chains, or similar items, may not be carried or possessed outside a guest's personal camping vehicle while on the property.

Management Rights

  • Management reserves the right to refuse service or require a guest to leave the property when necessary to protect the safety, comfort, or well-being of guests, staff, or the property.
  • Violation of campground rules may result in removal from the property without refund.
